As a valued team member, you'll collaborate closely with our Technical Lead to shape the future of our product. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to an exciting roadmap, focusing on ensuring new features work as intended, improving the reliability of the changes we release and give us the confidence everything is working as it should. • Build and maintain automation test suite: This is the chance to build the automation test suite from scratch, laying the foundations for an efficient framework that is scalable and reusable, making building future tests easier; Integrating the test suite into the build pipelines so they run on command; Prioritising workload to build the high priority end-to-end tests first.

• Manual testing: Working as part of the software delivery life cycle, you will manually test new changes and bug fixes against user stories to ensure they work as intended and there are no unintended changes.

• Be part of the solution: Beyond just raising bugs from manual testing and the automation suite, you'll work directly with developers to ensure issues are resolved swiftly and are right first time.

• Flexible Work Arrangements: Embrace the freedom of primarily working from home, with periodic visits to our vibrant Manchester-based office (typically every six weeks). This flexible setup allows you to strike the perfect work-life balance.

• Strong JavaScript/PHP Test Automation Expertise: Hands-on experience writing end-to-end automation test suites in Playwright/Selenium/Cypress/Laravel Dusk.

• Familiar with our tech stack: PHP, Laravel, AWS, MySQL.

• Building for the future: Knowledge of how to design and implement a test framework that is scaleable with reusable elements.

• MySQL Sills: Experience querying a database to verify the data in test cases.

• Agile: Knowledge of or experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban).

• Working within a team: Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills in an start-up environment

• Performance Optimisation: Understanding of performance budgets and the ability to write efficient code for optimal application speed.

• Continuous Learning: A commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
